The case study
How we got there.
A portfolio with no front door.
Vela Studio had a decade of quiet, well-regarded architecture work and nowhere to point new clients. Everything lived on a shared drive and a handful of PDFs, referrals were doing all the work a website should.
Get out of the photography's way.
We built a spare, dark editorial layout that treats every project as full-bleed photography first and copy second, with a mark and type system understated enough to disappear next to the buildings themselves.
A site the practice is proud to send first.
The studio now leads every pitch with the site instead of a PDF deck, and two of their last three commissions came in through the contact form alone.
